OUR MISSION

We strive to assist individuals and families to attain decent and affordable housing, thereby empowering them to achieve their part of the American Dream, 'Homeownership'.

OUR GOALS

The objective of We Help CDC is to address both the serious housing and socioeconomic needs in the Lake Region and the goal is to attain decent, safe and affordable housing for residents of the Lake Region.

HISTORY OF WE HELP CDC

In February 1997, we obtained our 501(c)(3) which made it possible for us to provide services to the residents of Florida. Initially we hosted various community-based programs. Subsequently, in August 2000, we became a qualified sponsor for the State’s Community Contribution Tax Credit Program. As such, we receive tax deductible contributions from businesses and individuals who pay taxes in Florida.

In addition to helping families and individuals, we are also dedicated to business owners by reducing their tax liability – a winning situation for everyone!

Anyone who is in the position to provide assistance to someone who may need it can benefit by making a contribution to our organization that has proven to be a great asset to our communities. Already, the American Dream has become a reality for families and individuals that we have helped (documentation and testimonies are available upon request).

Yes! You as a taxpayer can benefit by supporting the We Help Community Development Corporation’s Affordable Housing Programs. How? You can receive fifty (50) per cent state tax credit for your contributions to and one hundred (100) per cent of your contributions can be tax deductible on your Federal income taxes.
